What a way to wrap up my 2021 wedding season. Eddy and McAley’s northern Illinois wedding day was nothing shy of perfect. They got ready in the comfort of McAley’s parents’ home, and then vowed to each other in her childhood church (one of the prettiest chapels I’ve ever laid eyes on!) After the ceremony, we went over to the old Dixon Courthouse where there was beautiful fall foliage – this was the last weekend where the leaves were on the trees and full of different bright colors. We wrapped up portraits and walked over to McAley’s late father’s old bar, one of my favorite parts of their day. After a half hour breather at Stables, we finished off the night at their reception venue in Sterling, Illinois, McCormick Event Center, where they celebrated their marriage with tons of friends and family.
It’s been an honor to be a part of this beautiful couple’s journey to their big day. I’m sad it’s over, but definitely so excited that we have became friends in this process, so I’ll get to see them way more in the future. Congratulations to the Deetses! I’m wishing you two a lifetime of love and happiness!
