Klarissa and Billy’s Elgin, Illinois wedding was an absolute dream. Klar has the greatest eye for little details, especially the details at the reception. Their love for their families was so evident in each part of their wedding day – which is why you’ll see so many portraits with their family.
K+B chose a stunning industrial, romantic styled wedding venue, The Haight, located in downtown Elgin, Illinois. Their rooftop ceremony was so incredibly perfect as their guests watched them tie the knot while feeling a cool fall breeze – what could be better? Their venue was also walking distance from Walton Island which allowed us to have the most beautiful lush backdrop for all of their pre-ceremony portraits.
It was very important to honor their families at their wedding since both have suffered big losses of family members in the recent past. They had the most beautiful tribute at the beginning of their reception that didn’t leave a dry eye in the room.
I couldn’t be happier for Klarissa and Billy and finally being able to become husband and wife. It was an honor to photograph such a special wedding, and I know their future is filled with so much love!
