As a southern native, we very rarely ever received snow. Actually, I only recall getting “snow” (ice) two times in my 21 years of living in Louisiana. You could say it’s been a learning curve getting used to the very cold and snowy Illinois winter weather, and the same goes for my family when they come up to visit.
My mom and niece came up for my birthday and what do you know, it snowed about six inches! We froze our tails off, but had an absolute blast! Sparky (my Corgi pup) was sure to show Quinn the ropes, and my mom played along too. We lasted about twenty minutes outside, and then decided we would like to be in the house by the fire place. What a cold birthday present, haha!
